What is Disney+ and what does it offer?

Disney+ is the streaming hub for Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and general entertainment from Star. With hit movies, exclusive series and original content, Disney+ offers unmissable entertainment at your fingertips.


What is the Disney+ Zain offer?

Customers on selected postpaid plans (Wiyana postpaid plans and Basic internet plans) can enjoy a 3-month subscription to Disney+ at no additional cost. After this period, the user can subscribe to Disney+ at the monthly subscription fee* applicable at that time [currently KWD 3.7/month]. 

For new MAX Home Fixed Wireless Plan customers, Zain offers complementary access to Disney+ as long as the plan remains active and bills are up to date. 

Zain customers who are not on the selected plans can subscribe through Zain to enjoy Disney+ by paying the standard monthly fee.

How can I subscribe to Disney+ via Zain?

The subscription process depends on your plan. Follow the steps below based on your eligibility:

For Wiyana Postpaid and Basic Home internet plans:

  1. Log into Zain App or through MyZain.
  2. Ensure your device is connected to the same WiFi network as your router or that you are logged in to the app.
  3. Navigate to ‘My Zain’ and select ‘Home’ or ‘My Plan’ to confirm that you are on an eligible MAX plan or to subscribe to a new one.
  4. Scroll down to ‘My Content’ and click on ‘Activate Content’ to subscribe to Disney+ or any additional services (the amount of entertainment providers you can subscribe to depends on the MAX plan you have selected).
  5. Once you click on the activation button and agree to the Terms and Conditions, you will receive confirmation of successful activation, via SMS and email.
  6. Click on “Go to Disney+” or visit disneyplus.com, to register with your Zain mobile number. You will receive an OTP.
  7. Enter the OTP on Disney+ to start streaming!

Wiyana Postpaid & Home Fixed Wireless Plans:

  1. Confirm that your Zain number is subscribed to an eligible Wiyana Postpaid or Basic home internet plan offering 3 months of Disney+.
  2. Send ‘5’ to ‘99898’ to activate the offer.
  3. You will receive a confirmation SMS from Zain asking to agree to the Terms and Conditions, and activate the offer. Reply ‘yes’ to confirm.
  4. Upon successful activation, you will receive a message with your Zain number (used as the Disney+ login) and a link to Disney+ website/app to complete the registration process. 
  5. After registering, enter the OTP sent to your mobile to start streaming

For Stand Alone Subscriptions:

  1. Log into Zain App or through MyZain.
  2. Scroll to ‘My Content’ and click on ‘Activate Content’ to Disney+.
  3. Agree to the Terms and Conditions. Confirmation will be sent via text and email. 
  4. Upon successful activation, use your Zain mobile number as your login username to complete the registration process on disneyplus.com.
  5. Enter the OTP sent to your mobile to start streaming.

Can I subscribe to Disney+ directly without Zain?

Yes, you can sign up directly at disneyplus.com for the retail price* [currently USD 10.99/month].

When can I start enjoying my Disney+ benefits?

You can start using the Disney+ service as soon as your eligible Zain plan is active or once your Disney+ subscription is activated. 


How will I know my Disney+ Offer is active?

You will receive an onboarding confirmation SMS from Disney+ as well as an activation email from Zain.

Can I use Disney+ outside of Kuwait?

Yes, you can access your Disney+ from available MENA countries, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Algeria, Iraq, Jordan, Morocco, Egypt, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Tunisia, Libya, Yemen, Palestine, and Lebanon.

How many Disney+ subscriptions can I add to my Zain account?

You can only have one active Disney+ subscription per valid phone number.


I signed up to Disney+ via Zain, but am asked to subscribe again. What should I do?

How do I stop my Zain Disney+ subscription? If I wish to reuse it, how do I reconnect?

Depending on the type of Disney+ subscription that you have, you may not be able to always reconnect a cancelled subscription. See below table:

You can cancel your 3-month subscription to Disney+ at anytime during the period, which would automatically renew for a paid monthly subscription after, if you remain subscribed.

 

If you cancel before the end of the promotional period, you will still be able to access Disney+ until the end of the 3rd month. If you wish to reconnect again to Disney+, you can do so at the end of the promotion period, by opting for one of the stand alone offerings on My Zain.

Basic Internet plans You can cancel your 3-month subscription to Disney+ at anytime during the subscription period; however, you will be able to access Disney+ until the end of the 3 month promotional period. If you wish to reconnect, you can do so after the expiration of the promotion, by opting in to one of the stand alone offerings.
Max Internet plans You can only cancel your subscription after 90 days post your activation of Disney+. If you wish to reconnect, you can do so by navigating to My Zain app/webpage and reactivating your complementary subscription, as long as your contract for Max Home Fixed Wireless is active.
Postpaid and MAX Home Fixed Wireless Cancel anytime during the promotional period but retain access for 90 days. You can reconnect by reactivating on MyZain once the promotional period ends. 


What happens to my Disney+ subscription if I stop paying my Zain bill?

If you do not pay your Zain bill, Disney+ will be suspended 13 days after the billing date. You will have 30 days to settle your bill before your Disney+ subscription is terminated. 


Will I lose Disney+ Access if I cancel my Zain line?

If you cancel your Zain line, you will lose your Disney+ subscription immediately.


How can I keep Disney+ but stop paying via Zain?

Terminate your existing active subscription with Zain,and resubscribe directly to Disney+ by visiting disneyplus.com.


Are my Zain bill and Disney+ payment due on the same day?

If you are not on the complementary plan, your Zain bill and Disney+ subscription payment will be different.

Your Disney+ billing cycle will start on the day of activation and renew monthly thereafter. 


What happens to my Disney+ login details when I update my Zain mobile number?

You will continue to login to Disney+ using your registered mobile number.


How do I update my Disney+ login details if my phone number changes?

You cannot change your Disney+ login details. For more information, please call the Zain Call Center by calling 107 for automated services or to talk to our customer care available 24 hours by asking ZBot.
